This lecture will cover the ancient history of this art technique, cover technical aspects of the impact of fiber micron thickness, woven silk types and what momme is and why it is important. Types of silk fibers and how to incorporate them correctly. What types of fibers will and wont felt. The following day we will offer a beginning workshop where this information and techniques can be put into practice.
